Black Cow Valentines: The Morning After

How do you like your eggs in the morning? We like ours in the Black Cow Prairie Oyster, no better way to start the day after a heady night of oysters, vodka and romance ;). The prairie oyster - sometimes known as a Thai aphrodisiac - was traditionally used as a hangover cure.

Ingredients

Black Cow vodka, 25ml
Two dashes of Worcestershire sauce
Three dashes Sriracha sauce
Sliver of slightly melted salted butter
One free range egg
Served in an eggshell

 Step by step

We created our version of a prairie oyster by adding a dash of Sriracha, a curl of melted butter, a pinch of salt, a splash of Black Cow and a drop of Worcestershire sauce to the unbroken yolk. Pop it in a glass or back into the shell. Down in one! The whole yolk causes the drink to bear a texture similar to that of an oyster. Hence the land/prairie oyster receives its name.
