New Forest & Hampshire County Show: 29th - 31st July 2025
For over 100 years, the New Forest and Hampshire County Show has promoted agriculture, horticulture, forestry, equestrianism, and rural crafts.
Organised by the New Forest Agricultural Show Society, a charity founded in 1920 — the Show has grown into a major three-day celebration of countryside life in the heart of the New Forest National Park.
Mid Somerset Show: 17th August 2025
The Mid-Somerset Agricultural Society organises the award winning Mid-Somerset Show, a traditional one-day agricultural show annually in August. It is held on the edge of the town of Shepton Mallet, and attracts over 2500 exhibitors and 17,000 visitors from the surrounding area.
Melplash Show: 21st August 2025
The Melplash Agricultural Society Show is one of the South West’s premier agricultural exhibitions and is held at The West Bay Show grounds, Bridport, Dorset on the last Thursday before the August Bank holiday. The 2025 Show will take place on Thursday 21st August.
The show really offers something for everyone! The showground is packed full of exhibits including livestock, horses, homecrafts and horticulture. There are over 400 trade stands selling everything from locally produced food to tractors… and plenty in between!
Car Fest: 22nd - 24th August 2025
Created by Chris Evans to help raise funds for UK Children's Charities. This year’s festival weekend promises to bring us all together, to admire the fastest cars, enjoy performances from some of the UK’s best artists, bands and DJ’s, get involved in incredible food demonstrations and meet a host of the UK’s TV, theatre, music and sports legends.
Dorset County Show: 6th & 7th September 2025
Celebrating Dorset Agriculture, Countryside and rural life. Acting as Dorset’s end of harvest celebration.
Annually, on the first weekend of September, Dorset comes together to showcase the very best that the County has to offer.
Frome Agricultural & Cheese Show: 13th September 2025
For more than a century and a half, local people have been exhibiting their home-made cheese at the Frome Cheese Show. Almost every year since its inception (apart from the war years) the show has expanded, moved, changed and adapted itself to the changing needs of its audience and valued customers.
Sturminster Newton Cheese Festival: 13th September 2025
In 1998 the town was home to the largest calf market in Europe and a Creamery which made award winning cheese. Sadly the market was closed, that site is now home to The Exchange, our arts, entertainment & business venue and community hub. The community decided that the Town needed something which reflected our market heritage and showcasing our award winning cheese and so the Cheese Festival was born, the first event taking place in 1999.
Powderham Food Festival: 4th October 2025
Get ready for the return of the annual Food Festival, bringing together the very best of the South West’s culinary scene! Expect an irresistible mix of sweet treats, savory delights, live cooking demos, tasting sessions, and family-friendly entertainment.
It’s the perfect way to welcome the new season and indulge in a weekend of great food, fun, and festivities.
Tavistock Goose Fair: 8th October 2025
Tavistock's Goose Fair is an annual event with over 200 traders, fairground rides, and entertainment. The fair dates back to the 12th century and is a highlight of the Tavistock calendar.
Athelhampton Christmas Market: 8th & 9th November 2025
The Dorset Food & Drink Winter Fair is back at Athelhampton House for 2025! Join us for this popular annual festive foodie event with over 45 amazing producers selling distinctively Dorset & seasonal produce set in our lovely grounds.
Bath Christmas Market: 27th - 29th November 2025
