2022 was a marvellously busy year as we celebrated 10 years of Black Cow with a flurry of awards, events and partnerships. Here are just a few of our highlights of 2022, a year well spent producing our well loved cheddar and vodka for you to enjoy, which are now available for you to subscribe to!
A YEAR OF EVENTS
We had a blast popping up at a plethora of events and festivals over the year.
Some highlights include, Bristol and London Craft Beer Festivals, Wild Paths Festival, Savour Festival, Hix Oyster Celebration and Waitrose Food & Drink Festival where we served up a delicious menu of Black Cow favourites, including our Three Ingredient Espresso Martini, Strawberry Spritz, Bloody Cow, Negroni & Italian Blood Orange Spritz.
With special thanks to our partners Fevertree, The Pickle House and Solo Coffee who have helped us to create our special serves this year at all of our events!
A YEAR OF PARTNERSHIPS
We continued to pursue our love of music, collaborating with Homeboy Battersea on a month-long Black Cow menu takeover featuring a roster of live music evenings, and sponsoring live music sessions throughout the summer at The Groucho Club.
October saw the coming of London Cocktail Week with two Black Cow signature serves at Light Bar and the newly opened Tattu. Later in the year, we launched two Christmas Spirit activations with Sophie's Steakhouse and Artyard Bankside, serving up delicious Black Cow Christmas Spirit cocktails in beautifully festive settings.
Over Christmas we also partnered with Virgin Atlantic to bring Christmas Spirit to the air, serving A Sparkling Christmas.
Finally, we are thrilled that Lyaness, the best bar in the world, has created a stunning new Black Cow cocktail featured on their menu. The mind-blowing cocktail, Multi Milk is a heady mix of Black Cow milk vodka, milk wash, Thunder Mushroom, split milk cordial, and milk.
A YEAR OF AWARDS
Over the last 10 years, we’ve put a lot of thought and work into crafting Black Cow products for you to enjoy. We have always been committed to creating an outstanding product responsibly and it’s wonderful to have that effort recognised by the chestful of awards we won this year.
At Taste of the West, all our products ranked highly with the judges, with Black Cow vodka, English Strawberries and our Cheddar Cheese all awarded gold.On a national scale, Black Cow vodka won the vodka category at the Great British Food Awards, with chef and restauranteur Adam Handling claiming that Black Cow might be his favourite ever vodka.
