Pharmacy 2 - Damien Hirst and Mark Hix



Pharmacy 2 saw it’s doors open on the 23rd February. A collaboration between Damien Hirst and our friend, restaurateur Mark Hix. It’s the second act for Hirst’s first restaurant, Pharmacy, which closed its doors in 2003, this time however it will be inside his Newport Street Gallery in Vauxhall.
Serving classic British and European food alongside a cocktail list including Mark Hix Black Cow Vodka Martinis and Black Cow's The Dorset Donkey, Hix’s spin on the Moscow Mule.Hirst said: 'Pharmacy 2 combines two of my greatest passions; art and food. I've always loved Mark as a chef and his approach to food, so it's great we're working together on this.'The restaurant will operate as a canteen for visitors during the day as well as opening in the evening after the gallery closes.It has already received rave reviews from Fay Maschler, restaurant critic, The Evening Standard.Pharmacy 2, Newport Street Gallery, Newport Street, London, SE11 6AJ
