QUEEN'S MARTINI

at Emberwood Bath

Bath’s newest opening, Emberwood, brings a considered, produce-led approach to both food and drink to Queen Square. At the bar, martinis are mixed tableside from the trolley, with an emphasis on balance and clarity rather than show.

At the centre is the Queen’s Martini – a dry vodka martini built on Black Cow vodka, Cornish vermouth and Wildling orchard spirit, delivering subtle apple notes and a clean, composed finish. Alongside it sits the Vesper No.9, an English sparkling wine twist on the classic.

Set within No. 9 Queen Square, Emberwood is rooted in Bath’s history and its present. Cooking centres around a charcoal-fired open hearth, with ingredients sourced from local farmers, growers and producers. Named after the embers of the open kitchen and John Wood the Elder, who shaped this corner of the city in the 18th century, Emberwood balances heritage with a forward-looking approach – thoughtful cooking, considered drinks and a warm welcome for locals and visitors alike.
