We were delighted to welcome a group of journalists from the USA this month, who joined us for a few days to learn more about Black Cow.

The first stop was our Bar + Kitchen in West Dorset, where we enjoyed a fantastic lunch cooked by our friend James Whetlor of Cabrito who makes delicious use of kid goat meat, a by-product of the dairy industry that would otherwise be wasted.

Later on, we took an early evening fishing trip where we caught fantastic pollock, which was cooked up for our evening meal at Mark Hix's Oyster & Fish House in Lyme Regis.

The next day, we took a trip to the Cotswolds where we met up with artist and Black Cow friend, Dan Chadwick. After a light lunch of Black Cow Deluxe Cheddar pizzas cooked on Dan's Chadwick pizza oven and Black Cow cocktails, our journalists were treated to a tour of Lypiatt Park - a stunning manor house and park which is home to 32 of sculptor Lynn Chadwick’s finest works.

Finally, it was on to The Woolpack Inn in Slad where we entertained our guests with a mini Black Cow saloon, as we warm up for the Port Eliot Festival in Cornwall later this summer.
