Serves 2

Egg yolks (save the whites*), 3
Whole milk, 600ml
Double cream, 120ml
6 tablespoon sugar, 6 tbsp
Vanilla extract, 0.5 tsp
Almond extract, 0.5 tsp
Freshly ground nutmeg, 0.24 ground nutmeg
Freshly ground cinnamon, 0.25, tsp
Pinch of salt
Pinch of fresh ground black pepper (optional)
 Black Cow vodka, 85ml


 Step by step

Whip egg yolks with a blender until light and frothy.
Add 3 tablespoon of sugar until soft peaks form. 
Add milk, cream, vanilla & almond, and blend on medium speed for 1 minute.
Add nutmeg, cinnamon, salt & pepper and continue blending for a few moments. 
Add vodka to mix and set aside. 
Pour into two glasses, garnish with fresh nutmeg
*Optional: whip egg whites until soft peaks form. Blend in sugar until peaks become a bit firmer.  Add this to eggnog mix and whisk together.
