Holidaycottages.co.uk are a leading UK holiday company based in the South West, with over 2,000 properties dotted across the UK. Last Month, they hosted a foodie event in Dorset, which we were delighted to get involved with. Here’s what Sarah from their team had to say about the weekend.
"The weekend presented us with lots of sunshine, which was just what we needed as we welcomed 12 popular food bloggers from around the UK. Travelling from as far as Manchester, Kent and London to those coming from closer counties, it was great to get like-minded food lovers in one place, for one weekend! We stayed in Ranmoor, one of our large properties, surrounded by rolling fields. With the knowledge and expertise to know quality tastes, we’d planned a food-filled weekend to give the bloggers a chance to experience the very best of Dorset.
We provided breakfast, lunch, dinner, and everything in between, all using local suppliers, companies and services to ensure an authentic Dorset break. On Friday evening, when we produced a bottle of Black Cow Pure Milk Vodka and rounds of Black Cow Truckle Cheese, there was a lot of excitement and everyone was eager to give the products a try. The concept of milk vodka was one that intrigued the bloggers, and even more so when it was followed closely by a chunk of tasty cheese. A combination which we’d definitely recommend!
The strong taste but creaminess of the cheese was delicious and it didn’t take long for the bloggers to clear the plate of bite-sizes chunks, ready to open another. Thanks Black Cow!"
The weekend seemed to be a resounding success with great feedback from all about both our Vodka and Deluxe Cheddar.
