We have finished building a Bar + Kitchen attached to our distillery at Childhay Manor, Beaminster in West Dorset and are looking for a host to run the Bar + Kitchen and distillery tours.

This person must be multitalented; articulate, with a bright personality, comfortable with public speaking, able to cook and make drinks to a high professional standard, effectively manage the bookings and all aspects of the Bar + Kitchen, distillery visits - public and corporate.

We will be catering for groups of 8-10 members of the public every Friday and Saturday over lunch. Trade, media and corporate visits will be arranged through the week from Tuesdays onward.
 
Responsibilities
• Bar + Kitchen Menu management in line with creative department and executive chef
• Organisation of all Bar + Kitchen bookings coming in through web and internal booking channels
• Communications with all visitors
• Uploading running schedule to shared calendar
• Organising relevant staff for events
• Brand presentation and tastings
• Conducting cocktail tutorials
• Cooking for small groups of guests
• Bar + Kitchen order and cleanliness
• Stock levels
• Costings across the Bar + Kitchen
• End of day reconciliation
• Liaising with our Social Media Manager
• Managing sponsor relations.
